Electrical Outlet Replacement in Fair Oaks Ranch, TX

The electrical outlet is something we use and interact with on a daily basis, but most people rarely think about what goes on behind the scenes. Running through the walls of homes and businesses are electrical wires and components that power our everyday lives. However, these electrical systems are vulnerable to electrical issues and physical damage.

Your electrical outlet installation in Fair Oaks Ranch, TX is no exception. If it is discolored, smelling of smoke, then it might be time to call Mr. Electric to have a certified electrician investigate.

Electrical Outlets Are Vulnerable

The electrical outlet installation is known to be a supplier of electricity and even a risk to life, but its vulnerability is often overlooked. In reality, the electrical outlet is susceptible to a host of issues.

One common issue is wear and tear, as constant plugging and unplugging, or the use of faulty plugs, can lead to a loosening of the internal connections. Over time, this wear can result in poor contact and increase the risk of overheating and electrical fires.

Additionally, outlets situated in areas prone to moisture, such as kitchens or bathrooms, are susceptible to corrosion, which can compromise the integrity of the electrical connections. GFCI outlets are a necessity in such places!

When to Raise the Red Flag

It’s important to get in the habit of inspecting electrical outlets. Look for physical damage and burn marks, and watch out for sparking when you plug in appliances. If there is no visible damage, then give the electrical outlet a touch. If it is warm or hot, then jot that down as a warning sign.

An electrician is taught and trained to identify common signs of trouble, and it is always advisable to schedule annual electrical inspections. These evaluations can uncover hidden problems and allow you to arrange an electrical outlet repair sooner rather than later.

Our Customers Love our Services

John was on time, explained the issue I was having, offered me a couple of options, and then repaired the switch that was giving me problems, following my preferences of the choices he had given me.  He was pleasant, professional, and did a great job.  Would not hesitate to  use Mr. Electric again!

Austin, electrician and his teammate we’re great! Both were punctual, courteous, and very informative in explaining the situation and their recommendations to replace a bad breaker in our panel.  There was NO frivolous attempt up-sale to items we didn’t need and they were straight to the point honest in their recommendation. In the end, I would described the customer service Austin and his teammate provided me as, AWESOME! Being a new home owner, I am glad I have found  this company and will be using them any future electrical needs!

Outstanding communication and very professional service.  I would highly recommend Mr. Electric.  Received both e-mails and texts on appointment to include a photo and short bio of the actual electrician (Brad Mason) who would be doing the work.  Wish all home service providers did the same.  Brad was on time (actually a few minutes early).  He installed 30AMP breaker and associated RV plug in our garage.  To avoid any sheetrock repairs it was necessary for him to drop the line to the house electric panel through a wall with foam insulation, with very limited head/body clearance for him to work.  No mess left behind from the actual plug installation on another wall.

Rick from Mr. Electric arrived when expected and quickly diagnosed the problem.  He recommended a solution and gave us a proposal for solving the problem.  We asked when he could do the work and how long would it take.  He said he could do the job that day and it would take 4 or 5 hours.  The price was reasonable, and we told him to get started.  He did a very good job, neat and within the estimated time.  The invoice amount for the job was was the same as the proposal amount.  We are planning on having Mr. Electric and hopefully Rick do more work in the near future to upgrade our home's 50+ year old electrical system.
