Electrical Panel Replacement in Seguin, TX

Imagine a world without electricity—no lights, no appliances, and no power to keep our modern lives running smoothly. Electricity is a powerful force, but it must be handled with caution and care. That's where electrical panels come into play. Electrical panels, housing circuit breakers or fuse boxes, are the unsung heroes of our homes, keeping us safe from electrical hazards. If your electrical panel installation is giving you problems, then call Mr. Electric to hire a certified electrician for a quick and affordable electrical panel repair. We can also help when you need an electrical panel replacement in Seguin, TX.

What’s an Electrical Panel For?

Electrical panels serve as the heart of our electrical systems, responsible for distributing electricity to various circuits throughout our homes. When an electrical circuit experiences an overload or a fault, these devices spring into action, shutting off power to prevent damage, electrical fires, or potential electrocution.

In order to restore power to the affected circuit, you will have to manually reset the circuit breaker back into the ON position. If you have a fuse box rather than a circuit breaker installation, then you will have to replace the blown fuse.

Signs of a Faulty Electrical Panel

Many homeowners are familiar with the electrical panel, but not much more than what it looks like and how to restore power. Responsible property owners should familiarize themselves with the signs of a faulty electrical panel so that they can act quick when trouble strikes. Here are some warning signs to watch out for:

  • Frequent Circuit Breaker Tripping: If your circuit breakers are frequently tripping, then don’t force it back on time after time!
  • Flickering Lights and Electrical Issues: Are your lights flickering or appliances behaving erratically? This could be a sign of loose connections or faulty wiring within your electrical panel.
  • Burn Marks or Unusual Odors: Burn marks or overheating smells near your electrical panel are red flags, indicating potential hazards that need to be addressed immediately.
  • Corrosion or Physical Damage: Rust, corrosion, or physical damage to your electrical panel can compromise its integrity, jeopardizing the safety of your home.

If you notice these issues, then arrange an electrical panel repair without delay. The certified electricians at Mr. Electric are ready when you are.

John was on time, explained the issue I was having, offered me a couple of options, and then repaired the switch that was giving me problems, following my preferences of the choices he had given me.  He was pleasant, professional, and did a great job.  Would not hesitate to  use Mr. Electric again!

Austin, electrician and his teammate we’re great! Both were punctual, courteous, and very informative in explaining the situation and their recommendations to replace a bad breaker in our panel.  There was NO frivolous attempt up-sale to items we didn’t need and they were straight to the point honest in their recommendation. In the end, I would described the customer service Austin and his teammate provided me as, AWESOME! Being a new home owner, I am glad I have found  this company and will be using them any future electrical needs!

Outstanding communication and very professional service.  I would highly recommend Mr. Electric.  Received both e-mails and texts on appointment to include a photo and short bio of the actual electrician (Brad Mason) who would be doing the work.  Wish all home service providers did the same.  Brad was on time (actually a few minutes early).  He installed 30AMP breaker and associated RV plug in our garage.  To avoid any sheetrock repairs it was necessary for him to drop the line to the house electric panel through a wall with foam insulation, with very limited head/body clearance for him to work.  No mess left behind from the actual plug installation on another wall.

Rick from Mr. Electric arrived when expected and quickly diagnosed the problem.  He recommended a solution and gave us a proposal for solving the problem.  We asked when he could do the work and how long would it take.  He said he could do the job that day and it would take 4 or 5 hours.  The price was reasonable, and we told him to get started.  He did a very good job, neat and within the estimated time.  The invoice amount for the job was was the same as the proposal amount.  We are planning on having Mr. Electric and hopefully Rick do more work in the near future to upgrade our home's 50+ year old electrical system. Photo of our new circuit breaker panel.
