Imagine waking up to a gentle breeze as your motorized windows open, your coffee machine brewing your favorite blend, and your television switching on the news channel – all without lifting a finger. Welcome to the world of smart home automation.

If you are looking for a smart home automation installer in Timberwood Park, TX to make these dreams come to life, then call Mr. Electric to get started with a consultation. Our uniformed professionals are on standby to take your call and arrange a face-to-face meeting or on-site visit for as soon as possible.

In the meantime, let’s look at some features of a smart home automation installation that can take your home living to the next level. This is not a complete list, and the possibilities are practically endless when you have trained and experienced professionals guiding you.

Smart thermostats

A smart thermostat can learn your temperature preferences and adjust settings automatically. The HVAC system is typically responsible for half of your home’s energy consumption, making it a perfect target for cost savings.  You can even adjust your home’s temperature from anywhere using a smartphone app if you forgot to do so before leaving the house.

Smart lighting

With smart lighting, you can program lights to turn on or off at specific times or in response to events such as when you enter a room or leave your home. You can also control the brightness and color of your lights to match your mood or activities.

Your smart home automation installer at Mr. Electric can even integrate smart lighting with motion sensors and security systems, which we talk about next.

Smart security systems

CCTVs and security cameras are great for capturing footage and evidence, but it’s a reactive approach to security. With smart security, you can prevent the crime from happening in the first place. This can save you from dealing with filing a police report, insurance claims, and so forth.

A smart security system offers real-time video feeds from cameras placed around your property and is accessible remotely. Moreover, integrated motion sensors can alert you to movement in and around your home, which can be configured to trigger cameras or alarms.

Smart security systems are not just about keeping intruders out. It is also helpful for getting in. Keyless entry with codes or smartphone control allows you to lock or unlock doors remotely for yourself or for guests and service providers like plumbers and electricians in Timberwood Park.

Smart outlets

You don’t need to buy expensive smart appliances or equipment to take advantage of the smart home revolution. With smart outlets, you can turn any old, dumb fixture into a smart one. You can control anything plugged into them (like a lamp or television) via your smartphone, set schedules, and even monitor energy usage.

Our Customers Love our Services

John was on time, explained the issue I was having, offered me a couple of options, and then repaired the switch that was giving me problems, following my preferences of the choices he had given me.  He was pleasant, professional, and did a great job.  Would not hesitate to  use Mr. Electric again!

Austin, electrician and his teammate we’re great! Both were punctual, courteous, and very informative in explaining the situation and their recommendations to replace a bad breaker in our panel.  There was NO frivolous attempt up-sale to items we didn’t need and they were straight to the point honest in their recommendation. In the end, I would described the customer service Austin and his teammate provided me as, AWESOME! Being a new home owner, I am glad I have found  this company and will be using them any future electrical needs!

Outstanding communication and very professional service.  I would highly recommend Mr. Electric.  Received both e-mails and texts on appointment to include a photo and short bio of the actual electrician (Brad Mason) who would be doing the work.  Wish all home service providers did the same.  Brad was on time (actually a few minutes early).  He installed 30AMP breaker and associated RV plug in our garage.  To avoid any sheetrock repairs it was necessary for him to drop the line to the house electric panel through a wall with foam insulation, with very limited head/body clearance for him to work.  No mess left behind from the actual plug installation on another wall.

Rick from Mr. Electric arrived when expected and quickly diagnosed the problem.  He recommended a solution and gave us a proposal for solving the problem.  We asked when he could do the work and how long would it take.  He said he could do the job that day and it would take 4 or 5 hours.  The price was reasonable, and we told him to get started.  He did a very good job, neat and within the estimated time.  The invoice amount for the job was was the same as the proposal amount.  We are planning on having Mr. Electric and hopefully Rick do more work in the near future to upgrade our home's 50+ year old electrical system. Photo of our new circuit breaker panel.
